Hello everyone!
I wanted to share a sneak peek of a beautiful newborn session I photographed a while back at Tanjong Beach. As a newborn photographer and family photographer in Singapore, I'm always excited to capture these precious moments for families.
The session was scheduled for sunset, and I was looking forward to the soft, golden light that makes these moments even more magical. However, I completely forgot that sometimes there’s an outdoor cinema set up on Tanjong Beach. When I arrived and saw the setup, I had to think quickly and change the photo location to ensure we could still get the perfect shots.
Despite this little hiccup, the session turned out wonderfully. The new parents were incredibly relaxed and went with the flow, which always helps create the best photos. We found a quieter spot on the beach, away from the cinema crowd, where the light was just perfect.
Capturing Natural Moments
One of the things I love most about being a newborn photographer is capturing those genuine, candid moments. The baby was so calm and peaceful, and the parents were simply glowing with joy and love. The natural surroundings of Tanjong Beach, with its soft sands and gently swaying palm trees, provided a perfect backdrop for these tender moments.
The Beauty of Sunset Photography
Sunset sessions are particularly special to me as a family photographer. The golden hour light brings a warm and ethereal quality to the photos. In this session, the sunset bathed everything in a beautiful, soft glow, highlighting the gentle expressions and tiny details of the newborn’s features.
As a professional photographer, being able to adapt to unexpected changes is crucial. The outdoor cinema was a surprise, but it led us to explore different parts of the beach, discovering new angles and backgrounds that turned out to be just as stunning. Flexibility is key, and it's all part of the fun of on-location photography.
